I’m a journalist covering politics, healthcare, and education, with a focus on the policies, institutions, and social forces that shape everyday life. My reporting ranges from breaking news to in-depth enterprise stories that examine how larger systems affect communities on both a local and national level.
I’m especially interested in explanatory and accountability reporting that makes complex issues accessible without losing nuance. Whether I’m covering healthcare policy, education initiatives, or political developments, I aim to produce journalism that is clear, thoughtful, and grounded in the experiences of the people most affected.
I recently completed my degree in Journalism with a minor in Political Science at the University of Missouri, where I developed experience in reporting, long-form writing, interviewing, and multimedia storytelling. As I continue growing in the field, I’m drawn to stories that uncover deeper systemic issues, elevate underrepresented perspectives, and help audiences better understand the world around them.
